When it comes, it comes. One can, however, constantly ask and listen. HeartMath describes a quite powerful process for asking that is shown later in the book.
One can develop their intuitive sense the same way they might develop their thinking function through education and repetitive use.
Another way to look at a strong intuitive function is that information constantly pops into my head. It can be a curse or a gift depending on how the information is applied.
The following audio segment gives one a sense of an experience as described by one of the interviewees, Dr. William Walker. Dr. Walker is a Jungian Analyst who studied in Zurich at the Jungian Institute and
with Mary Lou VonFranz, a direct understudy of C.G. Jung.
