Accessing our intuition can be proactive...
I have an issue I would like to resolve and would like relevant information from a source other than what my senses can provide. I ask for guidance.
Or, reactive:
I have no idea where this idea came from, but it feels right and I will act on the information.
Intuition, as a source of information, spans a range from a quick hunch all the way to mental telepathy and well developed psychic experiences.
Future Intuitive inputs seem to provide awareness primarily in one or more of many forms depending on the person:
Clairvoyance: Although generally applied to psychic ability, lots of people receive their intuitive information by seeing a picture in their head. Dreams also convey pictures from our intuition.
An understanding of the picture can come later. The first task is to be open to seeing the picture – to receiving the intuitive input.
Clairsentience: This term goes to the intuitive feeling one might have in relationship to any number of interactions. The feeling might be visceral or simply a positive or negative emotion that arises.
