In summary, we become aware of a glass...
Our senses describe the glass: It is six inches high and three inches in diameter. It is clear. Our intuition describes where it came from and where it is going: It might be a container for healthy nutrients.
Our thinking gives it function: It is for drinking liquids.
Our feeling gives it value: It has a beautiful shape.
Focusing on the Intuitive Function...
Carl Jung described intuition as
“the ability to acquire knowledge without inference and/or the use of reason.”
The word intuition comes from the Latin word “intuen” which is translated as “to look inside” or “to contemplate.”
The information might come to us as a feeling, a picture or voices in our head. The information may be in response to a problem we are dealing with or a response to our environment and the people in it.
