A Consumer “camcorder”: It is easy to use due

to automatic settings. For this type of camera,

keep in mind that you’ll need extra

high-capacity batteries, because the

included battery only lasts 20 min.

When looking at different models

make sure that the camera has a micro-

phone input. The price ranges from $100-$300.

Drones are very popular in media production.

If you learn to manage it well, you

will be able to take many beautiful

aerial shots of natural or urban

environments. The prices range

from $300 up to $5000.

A combined camera (action or POV camera):

This camera is ideal for action shots

or video. It has clips to attach it to

a bicycle, helmet, or vehicle; it can

also be water resistant. The price of

such camera depends on what’s

included in the set and costs $200-$1200.
