3. Associating
Associating in this process has a close relationship with stimulus and
response. Here after students mastering the previous steps and learning materials, they are supposed to arranged their own descriptive text. Indonesian-English compatibility in writing descriptive text is very crucial matter here. Most students of junior high school in Indonesia have difficulties in impromptu writing descriptive text. At least, the text in Indonesian is allowed to be written before undertaking descriptive text in English.
4. Reflecting
This is the final process in writing descriptive text. After students
gaining all the process, material, and their own texts, they are supposed to reflect what they have undertaken before: the teacher’s guidance of the previous learning on how the descriptive text is presented, and the summary of the students‘ discussion.

The writer is an English teacher in SMPN 19 Bandung, has been graduated from UPI Bandung (Magister in English Education) and magister of University of Indonesia (UI) in communication Science.
