Cold temperatures remind us that the 16th season of Winter Hospitality Overflow is in full swing. Volun- teering for a few hours is an easy and rewarding way to make a difference: in the community, and personally too. Sign up at http://tinyurl.com/who- hosting for shifts or to provide beverages or all-or- part of a hot meal.
Kol Ami and Friends hosts December 23–27 (includ- ing all day on Christmas), and March 10–17. We partner with First Congregational Church, but you are welcome to involve friends, neighbors, and business associates. Age 18+ own a slot, ages 10–17 may partner with an adult.
During Chanukah we collect supplies for WHO
If you would like to donate some of these items to WHO, we ask that you place them in the tubs located in the lobby:
• 33+ gallon trash bags
• 3 pound coffee or decaf
• Toilet paper, paper towels, napkins
• Wet wipes
• Cleaning supplies
• Gently used twin blankets
 (no comforters please)
• Winter clothes
• Camping gear
• Men’s belts
• Cup-o-noodles or some other heatable, hearty snacks.
At the Latke Fest, we will also accept checks or cash for bus passes ($4.25/day.)
Evergreen Habitat for Humanity
We had a beautiful, sunny day for painting. Volunteers from CKA completely painted one whole house exterior! Thanks to those who participated: Eve B, John K, Carl K, Michael K, Sherri L, Tyler H and Carol S.
