Phonesuite Certifies Interoperability with Snom D7XX Series SIP Phones

 BEAVERTON, OR / BROOMFIELD, CO - Phonesuite, a leading manufacturer of premise and cloud telecommunications systems for hospitality and VTech Communications,Inc.(VTech),aglobal leader and manufacturer of SIP-based phones, have certified interoperability of the Snom D7XX Series of SIP telephones on Phonesuite Voiceware 3.1.
The two companies have joined forces to provide the hospitality industry
with reliable, costeffective, and flexible communication systems. They can be installed with Zero Touch Provisioning for rapid, easily managed deployments.
In addition to VTech analog and SIP guest room phones, the interop adds the following three new Snom models, featuring color screens and paperless speed dials, to the Voiceware platform. This makes VTech the only telephone manufacturer providing guest room phones, administrative phones and conference phones on the same

Cost-effective and easy to use, the Snom D7XX Series SIP desksets (D717, D735 and D785) seamlessly scale from small hotel offices to hospitality call center businesses. VTech backs the Snom D7XX Series with North American based sales, technical and support teams, as well as industry-leading three-year warranties. These robust phones include customizable color LCD screens and dedicated feature keys to enable convenient call handling. Zero
touch provisioning allows for easy installation.
The Snom D785 SIP Color Deskset helps people manage and delegate calls on a daily basis. Employees can easily handle multiple calls via a 4.3-inch color LCD screen, 10 clear lines of information and four soft keys. The D785 can also simultaneously support up to 12 SIP lines or accounts from a single setup. A second LCD screen gives users access to four pages of six selflabeling feature keys for instant access to programmable functions, eliminating the requirement for an additional side car deployment.

MILWAUKEE - VoIPstudio has announced the launch of a new extension for Google’s Chrome browser, which includes complete softphone capabilities and enables new click-to-call functionality.
The plugin, available as an extension from Chrome Web Store, integrates the existing VoIPstudio desktop softphone directly with the Chrome browser, enabling subscribers to access all of their standard features.
It provides new levels of portability, allowing users to log on from any device equipped with Chrome. Users have full access to their calling history, across all their devices, and can access recordings and their contact list from a secure, browser- based environment.
It also adds click-to-call functionality
by converting numbers from websites that users visit to clickable links and offers intelligent management through the contact directory. When a user places a call to a number listed on a website, the call and
the number are also presented in the call history. Other numbers that have yet to
be called are not stored, but can easily be accessed from the relevant website, when required.
“The new extension brings another
level of flexibility and convenience for our users, who often use multiple devices,” commented Rob Seymour, Marketing Director of VoIPstudio. “It provides all
the features of a softphone but does not require the download of any new software. It’s particularly useful for call centre agents, who can simply login via a browser to enable access to their features and call history,” he added.
While Chrome supports capabilities such as WebRTC, these are not generally available across all browsers and versions, so the integrated extension solves this
problem for businesses that wish to use browser-capabilities alongside traditional devices.
