SnapMD Expands Virtual Care Management Telemedicine Platform with Provider Service Type Pricing and Comprehensive System Upgrades
Powerful upgrades include variable service type and pricing options, added telephonic encounter capabilities, enhanced work ow rules, and standalone documentation for all patient encounters
LOS ANGELES, CA - SnapMD, a full-service telehealth technology innovator and solutions provider, has announced an advanced suite
of new Virtual Care Management (VCM) telemedicine platform upgrades allowing
for providers to assign con gurable pricing based on service types structures; new
phone encounter capabilities for telephonic consultations; stand-alone documentation for all patient encounters; and new work ow rules for provider/patient visibility. ese telemedicine platform expansions allow for customized virtual care preferences to extend and streamline care services.
New platform upgrades include:
● Phone Encounter Capabilities: Virtual
care options and documentation has expanded to include provider-to-patient telephonic consultations. Patient calls are scheduled through the VCM platform and are routed through the provider’s waiting patient queues. During the encounter, providers enter a speci c phone encounter room where they can view patient data and enter their encounter notes for the consultation.
● Services and Pricing: With new service type settings, providers can create con gurable pricing structures for patient care services, which enables providers to de ne and bill di erent rates for di erent services o ered through the VCM platform. e upgrade also empowers them to assign speci c insurance codes and target appointment lengths to services for improved insurance veri cation and even more accurate scheduling.
● e Standalone Documentation Module: Providers can now create encounter documents
at any time, for virtual care or any other patient encounters they want to document in the VCM platform, including encounters that have already occurred. Moving beyond virtual encounters, SnapMD has expanded VCM platform documentation for record keeping, and is now an added resource for ling all patient electronic medical records.
● New Work ow Rules: A new work ow provides con gurable control over patient- to-provider and provider-to-patient visibility, vastly expanding the work ow capabilities.
is creates an automated, e cient experience for patients to be directed to an appropriate medical professional based on state license, allowing patients to get the care they need when and where they need it.
“As we continue to expand and rollout new functionalities of our 2.0 VCM platform,
it’s important that we recognize what our customers and patients want and need
from telemedicine care services,” said Dave Skibinski, president and CEO of SnapMD. “Understanding both perspectives of virtual care allows for SnapMD to further enhance our platform to meet all needs and be a complete and comprehensive telemedicine experience.”
SnapMD is a full-service, cloud-based, white- label telemedicine platform that includes all features and functionalities needed to practice any form of health services that is suitable for virtual care. Providers can extend their reach
of care through telemedicine by leveraging secure one-on-one live video, audio, and text message consultations between ambulatory patients and their primary care and specialty care physicians. e VCM platform is suitable for most departments across a health system with powerful back-end systems to manage the digital health enterprise.

GL Enhances T3 E3/T1 E1 Analyzer with SNMP Trap Notification
Gaithersburg, Maryland - GL Communications Inc., has announced its enhanced T3 E3/T1 E1 Analyzer with Rackmount version that includes T3 T1 Physical Layer Analyzer and SNMP Trap Noti cation.
Speaking to the press, Mr.Vijay Kulkarni, the CEO of the company said, “A T3 line is an ultra-high-speed signal capable of transmitting data at rates up to 44.736 Mbps. An E3
signal is situated at the third level within the Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy (PDH) and has a bit rate of 34.368 Mbps. With the advent of the internet, T3 (DS3) and E3 can be used
to transport not only data, but also packetized voice, and packetized video. Example protocols include Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM), PPP, HDLC, and Frame Relay.”
He added, “GL’s enhanced T3 E3/ T1 E1 Analyzer is now available in 2U Rackmount platform. e Rack unit supports 6 T3 E3 ports (6 * 672 DS0s) per unit, whereas a portable USB-based unit supports 2 T3 E3 ports per unit. Multiple rack units can be stacked together for greater scalability.”
Mr. Kulkarni further explained, “ e enhanced T3 E3 Analysis so ware complements
the hardware and supports simultaneously monitoring up to 12 x T3 E3 lines (2x Rack units or 6x Portable units) for all alarms, frame errors, signalling and data. For monitoring provisioned DS0s on a channelized T3, one just adds the Channelized T1 E1 Analyzer so ware to the system.
en the T1s within the T3s can also be analysed in so ware, 12 x T3 E3 lines (=12*28 T1s) constituting 336 full duplex T1s, or 672 simplex T1s monitored simultaneously using a single Rack unit. With additional applications, such as record-only, one can also record tra c
at DS0 levels.
e enhanced USB T3 E3 Analysis so ware,
also comes with T3 T1 Physical Layer Analyzer system that monitors all physical layer “T3s” and “T1s” within the T3s” connected to it via monitor level (non-intrusive – 20 dB attenuated) T3 signals. Alarms monitored at the DS3 level and at the DS1 level are packetized and sent via TCP/IP to central database, these alarms can also be sent in the form of SNMPv2 Traps via Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) to network operation centre.”
