What words of wisdom has your mother shared with you?
On Sunday, Feb. 11th, at 10:15 am, come explore Jewish women’s thoughts as well as our own mothers’ pearls of wisdom as Susan Stern leads us in a discussion based upon Rabbi Eve Posen and Lois Shenker’s book “Pirkei Imahot: The Wisdom of Mothers, The Voices of Women.”
Men are welcome to join us as well!
Ladies’ Afternoon Out
Join your KAWRJ sisters for an afternoon tea at Sweet Pea’s Tea Room in Battleground on Feb. 24th at 1pm. We’ll sip a variety of teas, nibble on sandwiches and other delectable goodies and enjoy each other’s company. Invite your friends! The cost is $20 for KAWRJ members and $25 for non-members. We do need to know how many are coming so please r.s.v.p at kawrj18@gmail.com.

Join us March 23-25 at Camp Kalsman in Arlington, WA where sisterhoods from around the Pacific NW will gather together to share our meals, celebrate Shabbat, learn from each other and enjoy time in the woods. You can join in whatever activities you’d like or none at all.
The cost is $136 for shared cabin, food and workshops (KAWRJ will reimburse KAWRJ members $50 if you attend.)
If you are interested, please contact us at KAWRJ18@gmail.com and we’ll send you the registration information. Carpools will be available.
Many thanks to you all for counting your blessings and making our fund-raiser such a success. We were able to send over $2000 to Camp Newman as well as provide funds for scholarships for our own CKA students to attend URJ-affiliated camps. You really are helping our students feel more connected to their faith and to Israel. Thank you!
