Interrogative Examples
Is there + singular?
Are there + plural? A:Is there a duck in the sea?
B:Yes, there is.
B:No, there isn't.
A:Are there any mountains in Sinai ?
B:Yes,there are.
B:No,there aren’t.

Affirmative Examples
There + is (‘s) + singular
-There is an oasis in the desert.
-There’s a horse in the field.

There + are (‘re) + plural -There are three birds on the tree.
-There’re two bags on the chair.
