LAYERS
The internal membrane is made up of a mesh structure that blocks access to
the water molecules while allowing human vapor to escape. This is why
3-layer softshells are defined as waterproof. The membrane opposes also
resistance to the wind, making the garment windproof.
SOFTSHELL 2 LAYERS
In the 2-layer SOFT-SHELL there is no internal membrane, WATER
so the garment is softer and more embracing, but thanks to a REPELLENT
repellent treatment that JRC applies on the external fabric,
the garment remain water repellent.
