Tilt the head and lift the chin while pressing the mask against the
3 infant's face. It is important to make an airtight seal between the
infant's face and the mask while you lift the chin to keep the airway
open.
Give 2 breaths. Watch for the chest to begin to rise as you give
each breath.
If the mask has a pointed end
Put the narrow end of the mask at the top (bridge) of the nose
The wide end should cover the mouth.
