Taking Off Gloves 1
2 Grip 1 glove on the outside of the glove near the cuff and peel it
3 down until it comes off inside out.

4 Cup it with your other (gloved) hand.

Place 2 fingers of your bare hand inside t he cuff of the glove that is
6 still on your hand.

Peel that glove off so that it comes off inside out, with the first glove
inside it.

If there is blood on the gloves, dispose of the gloves properly.

• Put them in a biohazard waste bag or as required by your
workplace.

• If you do not have a biohazard waste bag, put the gloves in a
plastic bag t hat can be sealed before you dispose of it.

Wash your hands after you give first aid so that you don't spread
germs.

FYI Use waterless hand sanitizers only if you do not have immediate access to

soap and water. Wash your hands with soap and lots of water as soon as
you can.
