ing out the poison. The correct steps for treating a snakebite are in the table.

If a snake has been killed or hurt by accident, leave it alone. A snake might
bite even when severely hurt or close to death.

If the snake needs to be moved, use a long-handled shovel. If you don't need
to move it, leave it alone.
