Client instruction
• Implanon should be inserted in the first day of the first week of menstrual
cycle
• It should be replaced every 3 years
• The women should return to clinic after 1 month 3 month 6 month 1 years
then annually for checks up
• The arm should be kept from trauma
• Keep area for insertion clean
• Avoid carrying having objects
• Avoid measuring blood pressure of the arm of insertion
• A void giving injection in the arm of implanon
