• Causes:
− Poor circulation and weak vessel walls.
• Nursing Management :
− Advise the woman to walk regularly.
− Advise the woman to avoid long periods of standing.
− Advise the woman to rest with feet elevated.
− Advise the woman not to cross the legs when sitting.
D) Hemorrhoids:
• Causes:
− Pressure on the pelvic veins by the enlarging uterus , which interferes with
venous circulation .
