Nouns

Nouns refer to persons,

animals, places, things,

ideas, or events, etc.

Noun can be a/an -

Person – a name for a person: - Ronie, Gio,

Michel, Joe, etc.

Animal – a name for an animal: - cat, dog, cow,

monkey, etc.

Place – a name for a place: - Indonesia, Jakarta,

Canada, etc.

Thing – a name for a thing: - book, ball, cloth, door,

pencil, etc.

Idea – A name for an idea: - happiness,

excitement, peace etc.

Singular Noun

Singular noun refer to one person, animal, place, thing,

idea, etc. The base form of any noun is naturally singular

and so that is the Singular Noun.
