Conjunctions

A conjunction is a part of speech that is

used to connect words, phrases, clauses,

or sentences.

There are several types of

conjunctions, but in this section we just

learn about conjunctions of time and

sequence.

Conjunction of Time

Conjunction of Time is a conjunction that is

used as a sign to recognize a time.

Some common conjunctions used to show time are:

When, after, before, until, since, and while.

When

We can use when to talk about a

specific point in time when something

happened or will happen

Examples:

1. Jane had a holiday in Dufan when she was young.

2. My friends will come to my house when I call them.
