Congratulations to Our Spring 2019 Morning Glow Grant Recipient Schools:
• Eau Gallie High School's orchestra program was awarded a viola.
• Challenger 7 Elementary was awarded microphones
for their school auditorium.
• Hoover Middle School's choral program was awarded new uniforms.
• Astronaut High School's band program was awarded the down payment for new marching uniforms.
• Christa McAulliffe Elementary was awarded new xylophones.
• Merritt Island High School's band program was
awarded a new marimba.
• Bayside High School's theater was awarded a new lighting system.
• Central Middle School's orchestra program was awarded a violin.
• MILA Elementary was awarded a sound system.
The Morning Glow Grant program was established by the Phoenix Foundation of Central Florida in 2017, to provide much needed funds to supplement the current budget for enhancement to Brevard Public Schools music and theatre programs. Through Morning Glow, the Foundation provides up to $100,000 each year in grants to music and theater teachers.
