This is an Exercise
Brevard County Emergency Management participated in a multi agency exercise, named Cobalt Magnet, on February 26 -28
in preparation for the Mars 2020 launch.
The three-day Cobalt Magnet 2019 exercise involved numerous federal, state and local emergency response and environmental agencies and was designed to help agencies identify gaps in technical and operational capabilities and provides opportunities for improvement of response and recovery in the event a real emergency incident was to occur.
