March 24-April 28-Microsoft Office Word-Cocoa-$50; class meets on Tuesdays from
5:30-7:30pm for 6 weeks in room #135.
The Microsoft Office Word beginning course is an introduction to Word and more. The class will equip students to become proficient and increase their skills in Microsoft Office Word for the workplace and personal use. Students may choose to prepare to earn their
Microsoft Office Specialist certification by passing the MOS Word exam after taking this course. There is an additional $75 fee to take the MOS Word exam.
March 25-April 29-Microsoft Office Excel-Cocoa-$50; class meets on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30pm for 6 weeks in room #135.
The Microsoft Office Excel course is an introduction to Excel and more. The class will equip students to become proficient and increase their skills in Microsoft Excel for the workplace and personal use. Students may choose to prepare to earn their Microsoft Office Specialist certification by passing the MOS Excel exam after taking
this course. There is an additional $50 fee to take the MOS Excel exam.
March 26-April 30-Microsoft Office Outlook-Cocoa-$50; class meets on Thursdays from
5:30-7:30pm for 6 weeks in room #135.
The Microsoft Office Outlook course is an introduction to Outlook and more. The class will equip students to become proficient and increase their skills in Microsoft Outlook for the workplace and personal use. Students may choose to prepare to earn their Microsoft
Office Specialist certification by passing the MOS Outlook exam after taking this course. There is an additional $75 fee to take the MOS Outlook exam.
March 27-Food Handler Training-Cocoa-$20-1-time class; class will meet on a Friday from 4:30-6:30pm.
The Food Handler training is required for any employee who handles food in a DBPR licensed food establishment. SafeStaff is DBPR’s contracted food handler training provider for most food service establishments in Florida. The class is at least 2 hours long. All students
will leave with their SafeStaff Food Handler certificate and will be ready to work at any restaurant in Florida.
March 30 – May 4-Computer Basics-Cocoa-$50; class meets on Mondays from 5:30- 7:30pm for 6 weeks in room #135.
Computer Basics will make you a friend of technology. The class will cover the following: Operating computer (turning it on, etc.), Windows vs. Apple, logins and passwords, privacy/safety/spam, file management (archiving, categorizing), email (sending, saving, categorizing, attaching, etc.), using social media, basic photo skills,
