Brevard Adult Ed at Cocoa-Lifelong Learning Schedule; Spring 2020-Session 1
January 8 and on-We Stick Together Exercise Class-Cocoa-$5; class meets from 6-7pm on various dates at the Cocoa Library & our Cocoa campus. Please call Jeanette at 407-312-3802 for all
dates and times. We stick together is a fun Group Fitness total body workout with great music!!! We use sticks, chairs, mats and interactive fitness techniques to engage all fitness levels!! Join us!
January 8-March 6-OSHA 10 Hour General Industry Program-ONLINE-$30-Open Registration
This course provides training for entry level workers on the recognition, avoidance, and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. The program is completely online. Students can log into the program at home and during school hours. **The course must be completed within 6 months of registration.
January 17-Food Handler Training-Cocoa-$20-1-time class; class will meet on a Friday from 4-6pm.
The Food Handler training is required for any employee who handles food in a DBPR licensed food establishment. SafeStaff is DBPR’s contracted food handler training provider for most food service establishments in Florida. The class is at least 2 hours long. All
students will leave with their SafeStaff Food Handler certificate and will be ready to work at any restaurant in Florida.
January 27-March 4- NRF Customer Service and Sales Certification Course-Cocoa- $150-class will meet each Monday & Wednesday from 5:30-7:30pm for 6 weeks.
Our Customer Service and Sales certification program is a nationally recognized curriculum developed by the National Retail Federation. The program provides training for anyone looking to increase their knowledge and skills in customer service and sales. All students will be prepared to sit for the NRF Customer Service and Sales Certification exam after taking this course. There is an
additional $50 fee to take the exam.
