January 27-March 2-Computer Basics-Cocoa-$50-class meets each Monday from 5:30- 7:30pm for 6 weeks in room #135.
Computer Basics will make you a friend of technology. The class will cover the following: Operating computer (turning it on, etc.), Windows vs. Apple, Logins and passwords, Privacy/Safety/Spam, File management (archiving, categorizing), Email (sending, saving,
categorizing, attaching, etc.), Using social media, Basic photo skills, like where to save, how to attach, how to open, Buying on the internet—how to be safe, Don’t get hacked!, Connecting with other devices, Saving files (external drives and clouds).
January 28- March 3-Microsoft Word-Cocoa $50-class meets each Tuesday from 5:30- 7:30pm for 6 weeks.
The Microsoft Office Word course is an introduction to Word. The class will equip students to become proficient and increase their skills in Microsoft Office Word for the workplace and personal use. Students may choose to prepare to earn their Microsoft Office Specialist
certification by passing the MOS Word exam after taking this course. There is an additional $75 fee to take the MOS Word exam.
January 29-March 4-Spanish 1C-Cocoa-$50-class meets each Wednesday from 5:30- 7:30pm for 6 weeks.
