Help Available for Hurricane Victims
Dear Team BPS,
Thank YOU to many who have already made a generous commitment to support our community United Way effort. As our BPS United Way campaign continues over the next couple weeks, please continue to consider what part you may have to support the UW partners that support
First, I trust you and your families were not adversely impacted by Hurricane Matthew. Although the effects were not as severe as originally anticipated, I know we still have families – even within BPS – that faced challenging circumstances. I wanted to share that especially in times like this our local United Way is already at work to support our community, ultimately as a result of your generous support. Here are just a few examples of the UW partners who are supporting our community...

• Red Cross to provide food, water and shelter to those displaced by the storm
• Increased support from Second Harvest Food Bank to other food pantries across Brevard
• UW is assisting with food, housing referrals and other services to Titusville Bay Towers residents after their displacement
