 BPS graduate gives Sabal Elementary a new look.
Sabal Elementary
The Melbourne school recently got a makeover. Former BPS student, Bri ney Reyes, used her ar s c talent to update the school’s mural, which is on the front of the building. Reyes, currently a student at Savannah College of Art and Design, volunteered her  me to complete the project and said she enjoyed giving back to her community.
 West Melbourne School for Science
Diversity is celebrated at West Melbourne School for Science. The school hosted an Interna onal Night which included displays, a fashion show and skit created by students to represent di erent countries. Parent volunteers shared food samples from their na ve countries or the areas they chose to represent. Students also could get henna ta oos, check out exo c costumes and collect passport stamps as they visited each country’s exhibit.

Atlan s Elementary
Atlan s Elementary in Port St. John hit a huge milestone with this year’s Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser. Raising more than $21,000 and totaling more than $108,000 since Spring 2010 when they began par cipa ng in the American Heart Associa on campaign. The student body celebrated with heart healthy ac vi es supported by phenomenal volunteers, faculty and sta , and mo vated by their PE coach.
