Greetings from LHAT President & CEO, Ken Stein
2021 Board of Directors Dear LHAT Family:
Rob Bull How does one write a letter like this after the year we just had?
The Compass Group I opened with “LHAT Family” instead of “LHAT Friends” because,
Willa Burke having gone through what we all just went through, I feel like
Jujamcyn Theaters we are much closer to each other than we used to be. Odd,
Shane Burkett considering we were in lockdown. I guess that is one of those
Agile Ticketing Solutions, LLC Pandemic Silver Linings we will be talking about during the panel
Laura Corman session on Wednesday. With that in mind…
Educational Consultant
Christine Delaney Welcome to the League’s National Conference. This is our 45th
Tibbits Opera House Conference and our second virtual one. Between you and
Steven Ehrenberg me (and everyone else who reads this), I am really hoping it
Ambassador Theatre Group / ATG North will be our last virtual one. I truly cannot wait to see everyone
America in person again. However, the League has adapted, and we
Molly Fortune (Board Chair) now better understand how to continue to use technology
Newberry Opera House to keep us connected between conferences. Expect more
Becky Hancock virtual happy hours and possibly even virtual components to
Tennessee Theatre future conferences. A lot of things bad happened last year, but
Alycyn Keeling connecting with you on Zoom calls was one of the good things.
Wallace Theater See? It’s that Silver Linings thing again.
Chris Loeser, AIA Thank you to all of our volunteer presenters again this year.
DLR Group Our education sessions are going to be the best because our
Keith Marston volunteer presenters are the best. And our networking sessions are
The Shubert Organization going to be the best because our members are the best. And if
Randy McKay you are not a member of the League yet, you are about to find
Carolina Theatre of Durham out why you should be.
Maureen Patton
The Grand 1894 Opera House Thank you as well to our National Partners and Sponsors. Because
Michael Schnoering, FAIA of you the League is still here. We cannot thank you enough
Mills+Schnoering Architects, LLC for that. And because of you, all LHAT members can enjoy the
Tony Sias conference for free. I guess we have the best sponsors, too!
Karamu House, Inc. It has been a crazy year. I am sure most of us never want to hear
Stephanie Silverman the letters SVOG again. We are glad we were able to help with
Belcourt Theatre that, but we cannot wait for each of you to be fully funded and
Kevin Sullivan done with the SBA. Join me at one of the Happy Hours during the
National Trust Insurance Services conference and we will toast to being done with that program.
BOARD EMERITUS I wish it were in person, but at least it will be good to see you
Dana Amendola again, even if it is only on the screen.
Disney Theatrical Group
John Bell Congratulations. We made it. Now the real work begins. Let’s get
Tampa Theatre your theatres open again.
Jeffrey W. Gabel With sincere appreciation for everything you do,
