Voilà mon interprétation du Crucifix de Michel-Ange. Elle est belle et
colorée. Certains d’entre nous célèbrent le culte du sacrifice, mais ont du
mal à comprendre certains évènements qui ont marqué la vie de nos
grands-parents. Je perçois toutefois l’authenticité de ce sacrifice, car
c’est un témoin de notre force et de notre capacité à survivre. Il est
l’expression de la beauté.

88th anniversary of the lynching of Thomas Shipp and Abram Smith
Marion Indiana August 7, 1930
This is my interpretation of Michelangelo's crucifixion. It is colorful and
beautiful. Some of us love the religion of sacrifice but have a hard time
understanding something that happened in the lives of our grandparents.
However, I see the truth in this sacrifice because it is a reminder of our
strength and our ability to survive anyway. It's beauty.
