                    The Chair asked the Board if they considered that everything

                    intended to be delivered had been encapsulated within the proposed
                    vision.

                    In respect of the vision, Julie Mennell commented that it could be

                    deemed to be quite Barrow centered. The Chair replied that the level

                    of representation was much wider and that the vision needed to

                    reflect how the wider population would benefit.

                    Geoff Jolliffe commented that there was an element missing from the

                    vision regarding health and enabling individuals to realise their full

                    potential.

                    The following comments had been received regarding the objectives
                    as numbered:-

                    3. Cllr M A Thomson commented that there needed to be something

                         added to this regarding combatting social inequalities. Alison

                         Hatcher added that this objective needed to reflect individuals’ life

                         changes, enabling them to reach their full potential. Geoff Jolliffe

                         had suggested that it may be appropriate to replace ‘health and

                         well being’ with ‘physical health and mental well-being;

                    4. Julie Mennell had suggested removing the word ‘better’. The

                         Chair added that this would reflect the sustainability extent of the

                         project;
