Message from the Dean
It is my great honor to welcome you to the Joint Conference in Medical Sciences
2025 (JCMS 2025), hosted by four esteemed medical schools: the Faculty of Medicine,
Siriraj Hospital, the Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, the
Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, and the Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat
University. This significant event is being held to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the birth
of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra, the Princess Mother, whose remarkable
contributions to healthcare continue to inspire and guide our efforts today.
This year’s theme, “Harmony in Health: Innovating for Sustainable Medicine,”
reflects the critical need for sustainable solutions in healthcare. As the global healthcare
landscape continues to evolve, it is essential to innovate with purpose, ensuring that our
medical practices not only address immediate needs but also consider long-term
sustainability. Through this conference, we aim to explore key topics in sustainable
medicine, such as telehealth, AI-driven healthcare, genetic breast cancer treatment, and
sustainable healthcare education. These are crucial areas that hold the potential to transform
healthcare delivery, making it more accessible, efficient, and sustainable for future
generations.
For the Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University, this year is particularly special
as it marks our first official participation in this prestigious conference alongside our
respected colleagues from the three other leading institutions. We are proud to be part of
this important initiative and look forward to contributing to the discussions and
knowledge-sharing that will help shape the future of sustainable healthcare practices.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the participants, speakers, and
organizers who have worked together to make this event possible. Your contributions are
key to the success of this conference, and I look forward to the fruitful discussions and
ideas that will emerge from this gathering.
