Message from the Dean
To commemorate the 125th Anniversary of the Birth of Her Royal Highness Princess
Srinagarindra, “the Princess Mother,” the organizing committee of JCMS 2025, the Joint
Conference in Medical Sciences 2025, including deans and faculties from four medical
schools: Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital; Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital,
Mahidol University; Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University; and Faculty of Medicine,
Thammasat University, is organizing this conference to celebrate the royal dignity and
lifelong devotion of the Princess Mother, whose tireless efforts greatly advanced the health
and well-being of the Thai people.
JCMS 2025 is a landmark medical conference that aims to showcase excellence
in all aspects of medical sciences—vital missions shared by the four organizing institutions.
These include medical education for future healthcare professionals, health science research,
medical services, and continuing professional development. The conference also seeks to
preserve and promote cultural and social dimensions of medicine, including health
promotion, medical ethics, and social responsibility. By sharing knowledge and innovations,
we aim to inspire progress, improve efficiency, ensure quality of care, and raise public
awareness of health and disease prevention.
From the past to the present, medical knowledge and technology have evolved at
an unprecedented pace, significantly influencing medical practices. These advancements
require healthcare professionals to continuously refresh their skills and understanding.
With the shared commitment of the four institutions to improving lives, the
scientific program of JCMS 2025 as well as the selection of speakers and panelists has
been carefully curated to reflect both academic excellence and real-world impact. I truly
believe that JCMS 2025 will be an enriching and impactful conference that will not only
enhance patient care but also honor the Princess Mother’s enduring legacy of compassion,
service, and dedication to humanity.
We warmly welcome all participants and hope this gathering will inspire meaningful
collaboration, innovation, and lasting contributions to the medical sciences.
Apichat Asavamongkolkul, M.D.
