Results: Conclusion: The baseline characteristics were similar. The primary endpoint of glycemic control in both
group showed no significant differences. Similarly, the proportion of met-target glycemic
control was comparable between the two groups ( 86.7 ±12.1% vs 86.4 ± 14.0, p= 0.87 in
the REMI group and UC group, respectively). The maternal and neonatal outcomes were
similar. The Number of OPD visits was significantly less in the REMI group ( 6.3±2.2 vs
12.2±3.7, p= <0.001).
The REMI application demonstrated equivalent glycemic control compared to usual care,
with the added advantage of reducing the frequency of hospital visits. This suggests that
telemedicine offers convenience without compromising clinical outcomes.
