Conclusion: In patients with mild rhinitis, shrimp allergy was associated with a lower likelihood of nasal
challenge positivity. Among shrimp-allergic individuals, stronger skin reactivity required
a higher diagnostic cutoff to improve specificity. Notably, all patients with oral allergy
syndrome and those with pseudopod formation on skin testing demonstrated 100%
positivity, suggesting strong clinical relevance.
