Visual Arts
The Fine Arts Department at Rich Township High School is transitioning to one of the academic
pathways offered in District 227. All students will access to the level one and two visual arts
courses in the ninth and tenth grades and then declare Fine Arts as a pathway taking level three
and four visual arts courses. The pathway is designed to develop a student’s skills among three
areas of concentration: drawing, sculpture, and photography. The visual arts pathway provides
access to college-level courses taught through the Advanced Placement curriculum and the
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (anticipated 2022).
