Janet is also a writer; her play Brendan at the Chelsea was the sell-out success of the opening season of the newly rebuilt Belfast Lyric in 2011. Starring Adrian Dunbar, the production then toured to New York, Belfast, Dublin and Derry in 2013. Her newest play, Realtine/Noreen was produced at the Tristan Bates Theatre as part of Camden Fringe 2016.

Suzy won rave reviews for her portrayal of Jessie Matthews, the all-singing, all-dancing 1930s film star, in the original London production of Over My Shoulder: The Jessie Matthews Story (Jermyn Street Theatre).
Other theatre includes: Diana Lake in Rattigan’s French Without Tears and Becky Sharp in Vanity Fair (The Northcott), Gwendolen Carr in Travesties by Tom Stoppard, and Maggie Tulliver in The Mill on the Floss (Nottingham Playhouse), Sally in Cleo, Camping, Emmanuelle and Dick (Harrogate Theatre), Mrs Juno in Bernard Shaw’s Overruled and Polyxena in Hecuba (Tristan Bates), Becky Sharp in the musical adaptation of Vanity Fair with music by Julian Slade and words by Robin Miller (Covent Garden Festival), The Time of My Life (Bristol Old Vic), June and understudied/played Velma Kelly in Chicago (Adelphi). Suzy also plays Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart (not at the same time!) for a multitude of special events and gala performances in the UK and around the world. (Lyceum), Svetlana in Chess (UK tour and Oslo Spectrum). Film and television include: Snuff Box with Matt Berry and Rich Fulcher, Genie in the House, EastEnders, Casualty, Noble England, 24 Hours in London and the multiple award-winning and BAFTA-nominated short film Sweet with The Mighty Boosh! Radio includes: guest appearance on Ned Sherrin’s Loose Ends (BBC Radio 4) and the Doctor Who spin-off series New Earth for Big Finish Audio Drama.
Other work includes: Suzy is part of the musical comedy trio Ladies Go Diva, performing at the award-winning cabaret venue The Crazy Coqs in Piccadilly and at Café de Paris, London.

Training: East 15 Acting School, receiving a distinction from the Foundation Course, and went on to graduate from Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts with a BA Hons in Acting.
