                              The term "information and communication technology" (ICT) refers

                       communication,  and  information  processing.  Numerous  technologies,

                       this subject. ICT is essential today because it facilitates communication,
                       increases efficiency, facilitates access to information, and spurs innovation
                       in a variety of businesses.

                              The  creation  of  software  and  applications,  or  computer
                       programming;  the  visual  arts,  which  creates  digital  content  such  as
                       animations  and  graphic  designs;  computer  system  servicing,  which
                       handles the upkeep and repair of computer systems and networks; and
                       telecommunications,  which  handles  information  transmission  via
                       electronic means, are the main  ICT sectors. Every industry has a wide
                       range of job options and is essential to the contemporary digital economy.
