Wallflower, a daughter of Tacherhill Regal from the flock near
Thankerton.
Matching that 2400gns price tag was Heatheryhall Highland
Fling which offers some different breeding, being by Wannop’s
Godfather and out of Heatheryhall Fiona, a Dark Dawn daughter.
He caught the eye of Rory Gregor for his Gregors Flock near
Thainstone.
Close behind on 2200gns was Richard Wood’s Kingledores
Harvey ET, a Borderesk Finders Keepers son from Tweedsmuir,
Biggar. Bred from the noted College Awesome-sired Kingledores
Bessy, Harvey sold to Cameron Cormack for his Dunrod Flock
near Jedburgh.
Early on in the sale, Neil Laing and children, Euan, Fiona and
Kirsten, welcomed 2000gns from Neil and Stuart Barclay, Insch,
for Perryflatts Hero ET. Bred from Callacrag Bull’s Eye-sired
Todhall Flower Power from the flock near Thankerton, he is by
Wannop’s Firecracker.
Females peaked at 2000gns for Kenny O Connor’s second prize
shearling ewe, Kenny’s Hannah, which also stood Reserve
Female for the local flock from Carstairs Junction. Another selling
to Neil Wattie, this Reserve Champion from Peebles Show is by
Broughton Enricher and out of Kenny’s Force, a Riggroad
Edinburgh daughter.
Another by the Enricher ram in the shape of Kenny’s Halo sold
to Craig McMillan, Campbeltown, for 1300gns. She is out of the
Mortons Cheeky Boy-sired Kenny’s Daisy.
Also from the Blacks was Collessie Jacobite ET at 3200gns
Hitting 3800gns was Todhall Highway Man ET from
