TOUCHWOOD FLOCK TOPS

A small offering of Beltex at Melton Mowbray Market on
Saturday, 2 September, peaked at 800gns for the Reserve
Male Champion from the Harry Hawkins and Partners’
team.
Selling to J Breare and J Brooks, Hannington, that was
Touchwood Hendrix, a Touchwood Fig son bred from Myna
Foxtrot which is in turn by Ardstewart Super Mario.
The Touchwood team also sold the dearest of the shearling ewes
when Touchwood Hebe sold to Matthew Prince for his Stonedge
Flock near Chesterfield. Breed Champion at Kent Show earlier
in the year, her pedigree includes Kingledores Destroyer on to
Touchwood Fern, a Dean V/H Vrijbos daughter.
The Timm family saw their Yorkie shearling by Corstane Cock-a-
Bendy sell to P Furness, Little Fransham, Dereham, for 700gns.
His dam is the Airyolland Chaos-sired Yorkie Dutchy.
Young Harry and Rosie Coles won the Male and Supreme
Champion ticket with their Little Silson Henry, a Withy Trees
Garibaldi son out of the Hackney Cantona-sired Skelton Whin
Enid. He also heads to Little Fransham with P Furness, this time
for 650gns.
Chris Wright’s Brothertoft dispersal reached 550gns twice when
Chris and Laura Beck paid that to take both Matt’s Functional
and Woodies Eat Sleep Rave Repeat ET home to their Beckbred
Flock near Bamfield, Halesworth.
