IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL MEMBERS -
PRIVACY STATEMENT
The privacy of all members is taken very seriously by the S.S.B.A.
and member’s personal information will only be used to administer
your account and to provide the services you require as fully paid up
members of the Association.
The information the Association has stored about you may be used for
the following:-
To contact you with regards to your membership or animal

registrations.
To compile and publish the S.S.B.A. flockbook.

To send (or give) you a copy of the annual flockbook or any
•
other correspondence relating to the Swaledale breed and
Association matters
To promote the Swaledale breed through the website (show and

sale results).
To promote the Swaledale breed through display stands at
•
national and regional shows, sales and other events.
In the creation of Association sale catalogues
•
Members may be used to recommend judges for national and
•
local shows.
Your information will be held for the duration of your membership
and will be removed from S.S.B.A. records after this date if the
removal of data is requested.
Your information will never be shared with third party companies
outside the Swaledale Sheep breeders’ Association unless your
agreement has been obtained. If you are unhappy with the way the
S.S.B.A. handles your data please contact the Head Office.
