Class A results indicate a high level of resistance in the animal tested
and a high level of protection in progeny. Sheep with class B and C
results also generally have a high level or resistance in the Swaledale
breed but progeny of class C animals may be less protected than
progeny of class B sheep.
Shearling Rams with B3, C4 or D Genotypes are no longer for
breeding under this scheme.
