Now that you have an insight in the external factors and internal capacity of your organisation, you are ready to set a next step. A step that starts with Why – Why we do what we do – our purpose, belief and why we exist.

The Why
The Why in the above illustration refers to your reason to be, how you wish to serve society. The Why is bigger than just what you can deliver alone. It is your purpose, your dream.
Capture how society would look like if you could realise your dream.

Answer the following questions:
1. Why does my CSO exist?
2. What is its purpose?
1. What does the Why look like: make a drawing, tell a story, visualise it
2. How would you like to realise your Why and where would you like to be after
three years in terms of:
a. assets (tangible and intangible)
b. relations/stakeholders
c. influence (power)
