Derek knows we were still awaiting an opportune time to as I only spoke with him about it a month or two ago! I replied to requests for payment in the same way but you make out I was refusing and in fact you’ve given up on me! Not cricket, matey.
And as regards sparks’ Nigel, how on earth you can imply that we have outstanding amounts due to him I cannot fathom...... seeing as it was Richard who asked me if we at Mitre House had a good electrician he could employ....I stupidly suggested Nigel and Cezno and from that day on, we never saw them again leaving me right up the creek with electrics half done!! I replied to a request from Nigel (not in 2014, not in 2015, but on 16 April 2016...that’s almost two years after his first bill which we paid...and I replied to his request (seeing as he requested I let him know if we didn’t owe him anything!) saying exactly as above..... you deserted us in the middle of the works
tripping off to AR Lawrence for better money or words to that effect.... I never heard another word!) But I do have our replacement sparks’ bills for finishing the works...!
And finally, unless you want to see me hung, drawn and quartered, please, for the sake of Christian decency, withdraw your erroneous statement that our poisonous main Water Tank replacement was either in Derek’s Schedule of Works (it was NOT) or that you had anything to do with it’s re- placement?
Yes to either of those statements will get me 10 years without parole!
I would be grateful for a reply as I was hoping for a good reference from Eddie, Richard and you as to the quality of the works I did or arranged outside of your Schedule of Works utilising the various savings and contingency monies we saved.... unless you again want to see me shot!
Still cannot believe you did all of the above without reference to me. Just can’t believe it!
Best wishes to Eddie, but hope you drown in this weather! Paul (Folder_00 Item_30)
(c) Mr White replied (whilst abroad) on 15 June 2016: You are correct about the tank. I only said to Michel that I thought it was in the first draft [of Surveyor’s Schedule of Works] which I did not re- tain as it was void (she wrote the statement, I just signed it). However I discovered on Monday that Richard had a scanned copy on his computer. Therefore I will amend. (Folder_00 Item_31)
(d) “PBC” replied in an email dated 15 June 2016 @ 10:39: Thanks Tony - No need to amend - just ignore the situation or you’ll go mad....
Still can’t believe you fell into her trap though - on your return, I’d certainly like to know how and when, as you knew the problems I faced with her...
Once we get a relatively confirmed week of dry weather (a very hot summer is predicted) the solar silvering on the roof can be done (Eddie and I discussed on his recent visit a couple of months ago - and Derek’s onto it too - so don’t worry - you’ll get paid (and if you decide that Richard is going to amend that statement, let me know as some references re monies due etc are wrong - Leo sent me the invoice on 8 September 2015 and I replied saying no problemo just awaiting an opportune time to do works - and those references to me sending two lots of snagging lists is not true - I never sent anything, as I only received a copy of Derek’s snagging list on 17 December as did you!
Where did she get all this nonsense from in the first place, tank, snagging lists, Nigel Brooks? Anyway don’t worry.... see you on return if I’m out on parole!
And don’t forget, I did design you some pretty impressive stationery as well as paying you promptly as well as getting you some work..... with friends like you, who needs enemies!
Enjoy your hols, Paul (Folder_00 Item_32)
(e) Mr White replied (whilst abroad) on 15 June 2016: Paul, You just need to pay the invoice and I can get the guys back to do the roof. It has been a year now since the end of defect period that's where I got the idea that you were not going to pay. If I am wrong why then did you not do as we
