Re: Section 21 & 22 Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 (Mrs Hillgarth/PFC Begg/Mitre House Mngt Ltd)
Further to your letter of 22 April 2016 and my two subsequent responses of 27 April and 10 May 2016, I would welcome your confirmation that as far as you are concerned, this affair is now considered closed, as no request was made within the statutory six month period (as stated in the relevant lease) to view docu- mentation from the YE 2014 accounts dated 30 May 2015 until an informal request on 17 December 2015.
Following the contact made to you at RBK&C by a solicitor (PFC Begg) representing a Mrs M. Hillgarth, with what we consider to have been thoroughly scurrilous and opportunistic concerns, we at Mitre House Management Limited have subsequently replied in depth, in detail and in good faith to all queries raised to date by Mr. Begg, thoroughly disputing the concerns and accusations made to date by him on behalf of his client, Mrs M. Hillgarth of 66 Bedford Gardens, London W8 7EH, also the owner/lessee of Flat 5 Mitre House, 124 Kings Road, London SW3 4TP (and other properties).
Mrs Hillgarth is also presently in dispute with our own solicitor’s regarding various serious breaches of her lease covenants despite numerous requests to comply over a period of 7 years.
Our three most recent letters to Mr. Begg (with extensive comprehensive additional copies of relevant correspondence) dated 16 April, 27 April and 10 May 2016 remained unacknowledged until today.
Our letter dated 10 May 2016 to Mr. Begg both requested a final comment and the thrice requested confir- mations that indeed all accusations levied against Mitre House Management Limited were now proven as untrue and we did not expect to be harassed further by Mrs Hillgarth given the legal situation.
I can only again apologise for the time, effort and no doubt costs incurred in dealing with this, in our opinion, totally scurrilous and opportunistic situation which I regret is not the first time, nor probably the last, that Mrs M. Hillgarth has attempted to discredit ours and other companies in exactly the same fashion.
I personally have written 34 pages of correspondence to date including this letter and sent upwards of 500 pages of copy emails/correspondence etc with a further 1000 on file in readiness of any further enquiries.
Yours sincerely,
Paul Brown-Constable
