“PBC” comment: as no doubt can be appreciated, Mrs Hillgarth is attempting to hijack the whole internals schedule re: hiring external Agents and Solicitors issuing s20 Notices - the reason being that the two quotes she refers to (Wade & Hemi) both totalled upwards of £60,000 as opposed to MHML’s insistence of only a budget of £25,000 available in Reserves rising to a £37,000 budget subsequently to placate Mrs Hillgarth by including some of the Wade/Hemi works.
Her list of works quoted for included (as on her analysis of both quotations, Wade & Hemi) which should be noted most of which were NOT included in our final Surveyor’s Schedule of Works (due to budget constraints) and as quoted for by all our contractors from that Schedule of Works includ- ing Wade’s final for £219,000 and AR Lawrence for £105,019, both including vat and fees. Hence our insistence that Mrs Hillgarth wished to have additional works not in the Schedule of Works - and that is exactly what MHML managed to do by making common sense savings wherever possible from the s20 AR Lawrence budget of £105,019 incl. vat and fees - leaving £16,201 in Reserves!
