Entryphone are suggesting that seeing as we have a new front entrance bell push display that it might be an opportune moment to actually update with new units in each flat - these new units look similar but have an integral bell (at present the bell is an ugly external to phone unit).
The cost (in 2012....) per flat was £28.80 plus vat - total approx £35 and if all 9 flats agree to install we could probably simply do it from Reserves at an overall total cost of £312. But if we don’t get 100% approval from all 9 flats, each flat that wished to have a new phone would have to pay their individual £35..... no big deal for a new unit. Even if slightly higher in 2015, no problemo.
Only problem being that they would need access to all 9 flats on same day for 20 mins..... tricky to arrange obviously but worth a try.
Let me know thoughts (pixs and quote attached) along with Entryphone’s request to you to fix your off the hook or whatever.

PS I’m copying this to all Lessees as it’s quicker and relevant for them too..... especially making sure their (or tenant) phones are not left off the hook or the system don’t work!
