so I would imagine similar to what we have..... the ones with the
coloured stained glass I think are a bit too much.... again the building
is what it is so, so better qualitly - brass but simple would be the way
to go in my opinion.
5) Please keep in mind when you are doing the rewiring to take into
consideration perhaps a timed sensor on the 3 floors which I think is
quite cheap and would avoid tripping down the stairs to look for the
button to turn the lights on and put a key in the lock. Or at lease
making the buttons more accessible.
6) doors - I would keep the same style for brasswork, knobs etc. Please
note I have a broken pane on one of the 3 on my door - if that could be
taken care of when doing the doors it would be greatly appreciated!
Please, please please send me the final couple proposals so that I could
perhaps help on any final tweaking..... I have refurbished several
interiors and have visited several fantastic boutique hotels in nyc etc.
so might be able to give some useful advice on the aesthics, just let me
know.
You are so lucky to have an interior designer living in the building and
you are doing a superb job with your diplomacy, but I think Susanna is a
bit intimidated with a few of your ideas and also missing a bit of your
humour, so not quite sure what exactly you are proposing.... Her
intentions are the same as yours, so I do hope you can find a way to get
her on board as well!
All the best,
Maria

I have done as you suggested (at least on the colour schemes) and have
