BPCI, Hendricks County Board, BAGI Board, IBA board of directors.
WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT POSITION AND WHAT ARE YOUR INTERESTS/HOBBIES?
Owner and President of RLS BUILDING CORP. Enjoy doing new and old things with family and friends and especially with my wife Brandy & Chicago Cubs.
WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUES FACING THE RESIDENTIAL INDUSTRY AND HOW CAN BAGI ADDRESS THEM?
Lack of young people in our industry and lack of developed lots for custom homes.
HOW HAVE YOUR EXPERIENCES IN THE BUILDING INDUSTRY INFLUENCED YOUR LIFE?
36 years in my life in the building business has touched all parts of my life home building business I have meet a lot of interesting, knowledgeable, people. My life in the building business has touched all parts of my life. I always try and learn something new every day has help mold me to the person I am today.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO SERVE ON THE BAGI BOARD OF DIRECTORS?
I want to serve on the BAGI Board of Directors because I believe so strongly in the importance of this organization.
WHAT IS YOUR VISION AS A POTENTIAL BOARD MEMBER?
If elected, I will attend all Board meetings and express my opinions when asked to help shape the future of BAGI for the benefit of our members.
HOW ARE YOU CURRENTLY INVOLVED WITH BAGI?
I am currently the Hendricks County Council President and a current Director on the Board of BAGI.
I also have served on the Executive Committee of the BAGI Board as Secretary for the last two (2) years.
WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT POSITION AND WHAT ARE YOUR INTERESTS/HOBBIES?
I am President and owner of Steg Plumbing Company. Steg Plumbing has been in business for 22 years serving Central Indiana. My interests and hobbies are boating, reading, and getting together with friends and family. I am married with three kids: Chad (30), Alexa (20), and Clay(17).
WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUES FACING THE RESIDENTIAL INDUSTRY AND HOW CAN BAGI ADDRESS THEM?
One of the biggest challenges we have as a Building Industry is the current labor pool. All trades are suffering from a labor shortage and we need to educate the public about the careers available in the construction industry. BAGI should set up a taskforce to help educate the schools, career centers, and technical colleges about the construction industry careers.
HOW HAVE YOUR EXPERIENCES IN THE BUILDING INDUSTRY INFLUENCED YOUR LIFE?
I have developed communication, negotiation, and professional skills by being a part of BAGI and the BuildingIndustry. Ihavegainedmanyprofessionalrelationshipsaswellasmanygoodfriendsinthisindustry.
