To continue to further the professionalism, advocation and education for our industry while ensuring that the best interests of our membership are being advanced.

WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT POSITION AT WORK?
In 2016 I ful lled the goal of starting my own development and construction business. Compendium Group is based on the idea that transparency, communication and reliability should be a foundation to what we do. Together, as a team, we build extraordinary.
WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUES FACING THE RESIDENTIAL INDUSTRY AND HOW CAN BAGI ADDRESS THEM? We have a couple major challenges that I believe our association needs to continue to address. First is the costs that continue to be forced onto our industry due to regulations and bureaucracy. Second is the workforce issues that affect us all, from who (and how) we are allowed to hire to how our industry is represented to the public, to students in school and their parents. We must stabilize
our future and current workforce.
HOW HAVE YOUR EXPERIENCES IN THE BUILDING INDUSTRY INFLUENCED YOUR LIFE?
A quest for knowledge, constant improvement and seeing the value of working with people and teams are all three things that occur in my work life. All of those carry over into my personal life on a daily basis as I’ve always found it dif cult to separate the two.
LASTLY, WHAT ARE YOUR INTERESTS/HOBBIES?
I love to travel internationally, nd adventure locally and listen to live music. I also enjoy living, working and playing downtown and all that it has to offer.
WHY DO YOU WANT TO SERVE ON THE BAGI BOARD OF DIRECTORS? I want to serve on the BAGI Board of Directors so that I can help in making decisions that is best for us to consider in following BAGI’s mission statement- “To promote, educate and network along with providing advocacy, education and meaningful services to bene t its members and the new-home building industry.” I recently relocated from Cincinnati, Ohio and while living there, I had been active in the Homebuilders Association of Greater Cincinnati in the past. Now that I call Indianapolis home, I’d like to make a positive impact here as well.
WHAT IS YOUR VISION AS A BOARD MEMBER? This association is one of the best associations in the nation. I want to look for new ways for BAGI to continue to attract and retain members through education and outreach. I have experience in being appointed to carry out similar tasks and I look forward to using this experience to bene t our organization.
HOW ARE YOU CURRENTLY INVOLVED WITH BAGI?
I am new to the organization but I have been involved and have been supporting the Sales VP marketing efforts. I look forward to getting more and more involved with the association and events.
WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT POSITION AT WORK?
I am the Sales Manager for Ryan Homes. I decided to relocate here from Cincinnati to help grow our Indianapolis division.
WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUES FACING THE RESIDENTIAL INDUSTRY
AND HOW CAN BAGI ADDRESS THEM? As an employee of a homebuilder, we are faced with numerous challenges in getting new communities approved. There is an increasing amount of regulations and restrictions
we are faced with that have made it dif cult to offer affordable housing. BAGI has been helpful in ghting these challenges and we need to keep looking for ways for us to work with municipalities to be fair in their considerations for future developments.
HOW HAVE YOUR EXPERIENCES IN THE BUILDING INDUSTRY INFLUENCED YOUR LIFE? I have been in the homebuilding industry for over 17 years and have worked for some of the best builders in the industry. The industry contacts that I have made over the years have been such an impact on my life both professionally and personally. Being active and involved with associations like BAGI can be such a bene t to people’s lives. We need to continue our efforts of attracting and retaining members so that others can see how their involvement in the building industry can bene t their lives too.strong and permanent organization of professionals.
LASTLY, WHAT ARE YOUR INTERESTS/HOBBIES? I have my private pilot’s license and I enjoy ying as frequently as I can. I also enjoy boating, skiing and gol ng during my time off.
