BAGI would like to give a big shout out to
JERROD KLEIN and the folks at M/I HOMES
for their involvement in the 2017 Pelotonia to fundlife-savingcancerresearch. Pelotoniaisa three-day experience that includes a weekend of cycling, entertainment and volunteerism that has raised more than $130 million for cancer research. Thanks to its generous funding partners, Pelotonia is able to direct 100 percent of every rider raised dollar to cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
“I don’t know anyone who hasn’t had a friend, family member, or co-worker impacted by the horrors of cancer,” Jerrod says. “My father-in-law recently won a battle with esophageal cancer and I lost a good friend to a Glioblastoma form of Brain Cancer a few years ago. Being part of such an amazing effort just makes sense.”
On August 5th, The M/I group biked a
nearly 50 mile route from downtown
Columbus, OH, south out of town and
around to New Albany, OH. M/I is work-
ing hard to reach their 2017 Pelotonia
fundraising goal of $100,000. According
to Jerrod, M/I is grateful to the many
BAGI and MIBOR members who have
already contributed and they are only
$8,000 away from the goal. The 2017
fundraising deadline is October 6th. To
