BUILDER PHILOSOPHY: Precision and detail are the two fundamental ideals Stephen Kay Homes was founded on. We build homes that are functional, well laid out, and, most impor- tantly, just comfortable to live in. With 18 years of experience as a trim carpenter, Carl Moore understands how precision impacts the quality of a project. He had the privilege of work- ing for prestigious builders and installing woodwork in some of the area’s nicest homes. Our standards were born from those experiences, and we now apply them to the construction of whole homes. Whether we build a $2 million house or a simple built-in, the standard is the same. We simply don’t negotiate or compromise when it comes to quality. After years of experience in the industry, we delight most of all in hearing the words, “That’s exactly what I wanted,” from our clients.
SHOW HOME APPROACH: This home, which explores the modern farmhouse style, is a collaboration between Stephen Kay Homes and Novitski Design. They understand that bigger is not always better, so they chose to design a right-size house with an open layout. Clean lines and modern elements contrast the warm, earthy materials and interesting touches of texture. Ten-foot windows bathe the interior of the home with natural light and o er a great view of the woods in the back. Concrete, brick, wood, and even an old barn beam create a modern yet inviting feel. Christy Friedman of Lifestyled by Christy then chose colors, ooring, and countertops to complement the de- sign, resulting in a gorgeous home you’re sure to love.
ARCHITECT PHILOSOPHY: Ron Novitski has been drawing plans since 1992. He understands how much each element he adds to the design will ultimately cost the person for whom the home is being built. He takes pride in developing plans and de- signs that will work within a client’s goals and budget while implementing features and fresh design ideas that separate a custom home from a cookie-cutter, mass-produced house. It’s easy to draw a stunning home with all the bells and whistles when money isn’t an issue, but it’s another thing to bring well- designed oor plans and elevations to a ordable homes. Ron pulls it o and makes it look easy.
DESIGNER PHILOSOPHY: Christy Friedman of Lifestyled by Christy believes your home should be a direct re ection of your personal aesthetic while remaining functional for everyday life. Great design allows you to be comfortable and love your sur- roundings—living your best life...stylishly.
