MESSAGE from Craig Jensen, President
WhatayearithasbeenasPresidentoftheBAGIBoard. I am a rm believer in the efforts of BAGI to in uence and positively impact our industry as a whole, and this year has solidi ed that belief in an exceptional way.
Finally, I’d like to take a moment to express my gratitude to the Board, member volunteers, and the BAGI staff that make everything possible throughout the year. It has been a pleasure working with each of you, and I look forward to seeing all that BAGI will accomplish on behalf of its members in the future.

It has been particularly rewarding to contribute to BAGI’s
government affairs initiatives. This year, we established
the “Building Together” informational piece that we
have been taking to government of cials in hopes of changing the conversation around housing development. There is a great need for us to build homes at affordable levels, and it is up to community of cials to establish smart rules for housing development that meet those changing demographics of today’s home buyers, while still bene ting the community. My hope is that we as an industry will continue this conversation and work in partnership to minimize regulations and reach the most bene cial solutions for all involved.
